The course aims to prepare a professional able to use innovative techniques and tools of nava

l architecture and who will be able to manage yacht interior design projects in various aspects.  A set of tools and ergonomic references particularly significant in the design of minimum spaces will be provided. Additional elements that will complete the framework of this unit will focus more specifically on the principles of distribution and functional organization of boat below deck space.

The course offers students the opportunity to develop the operational capacity to apply the graphics techniques, through the use of informatics tools, and especially the capacity to develop projects of yacht interior design as a response to the needs of marketing of the marine industry.

The training approach includes practical-theoretical lessons that focus on disciplines relating to socio-cultural innovation, consumption and the market that have direct influence on communication and distribution strategies of the marine industry, integrated by knowledge of design development.

Duration and frequency

  • Duration: 200 hours (100 hours Italian Language and Culture)
  • Start: 2012 
  • Frequency: from Monday to Friday (8,30 a.m. to 1,30 p.m.)

Course Programme:

The course uses a dynamic and effective methodology that includes lectures, practical work in individual and group workshops, seminars, participation at nautical fairs, experience on boats, visits to shipyards, design professional studies and business of nautical components,final exam.

The project is divided into three areas:

  • Propaedeutics - Naval Architecture;
  • Training at Interior Yacht Design;
  • Communication and Project.

As supplement for the educational activities are planned workshops and a series of seminars dedicated to specific aspects of the sector.

The course is addressed to: 

  • The course is addressed to graduates, graduates in Architecture and Engineering, technical graduates, nautical sector professionals.
     
  • The knowledge of software for technical drawing bi / three dimensional (Autocad, Rhinoceros, etc.) as well as the use of graphics software has requested.
